Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and create foundational machine learning systems for an innovative AI platform.

• Take full ownership of projects from start to finish, encompassing data curation, model training, evaluation, inference, and ongoing refinement.

• Convert pioneering research ideas into dependable and efficient production systems.

• Utilize real-time production signals and data to identify and resolve model anomalies and system bottlenecks.

• Implement systems, evaluate real-world performance metrics, enhance methodologies, and iterate swiftly.

• Collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams to achieve technical goals and provide user value.

• Guide fellow engineers and perform thorough code and technical assessments.

• Enhance model architectures for latency, computational efficiency, reliability, and safety at scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Machine Learning capacity.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Experience with PyTorch and/or JAX.

• Familiarity with GPU-based training and inference systems.

• Proven experience in building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning systems utilized in real-world scenarios.

• Strong practical understanding of contemporary ML model behavior and failure modes in production settings.

• Capability to address production edge cases effectively.

• A history of writing clean, robust, production-quality code with an architectural perspective.

• High level of self-motivation and initiative.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex technical projects from concept to execution.

• Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts rapidly.

• Proficient in articulating technical trade-offs clearly.
