Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create and develop core machine learning models and pipelines for an innovative ML/AI initiative.

• Establish a real-time ML decision-making system that selects the appropriate acquiring bank for each transaction.

• Design a recommendation engine and additional ML-driven functionalities to enhance merchant conversion rates and revenue.

• Engage in practical experimentation from concept development to A/B testing and deployment.

• Incorporate advanced AI technologies into solutions.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and the Data Platform team to address modeling challenges.

• Construct organized training and analytics pipelines.

• Clearly articulate technical outcomes to engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Handle data from over 20 million orders and more than 100 million transactions monthly.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–5+ years of experience in machine learning.

• Practical experience in production environments.

• Proven success in deploying ML models from conception to production within a real-world product framework.

• Strong foundation in data science principles.

• Hands-on experience in designing and executing experiments.

• Experience with A/B testing and experimental design methodologies.

• Capability in feature engineering for high-cardinality transactional data.

• Self-motivated and proactive.

• Comfortable collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• A degree in a quantitative field is advantageous.
