Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead and enhance MLOps practices throughout the machine learning environment.

• Create and refine CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab.

• Establish ML experiment tracking and model management with MLflow.

• Productionize and deploy machine learning models using AWS SageMaker.

• Design and uphold scalable ML and data pipelines.

• Develop and sustain Python-based ML and data infrastructure.

• Implement monitoring and observability solutions for ML systems.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and MLOps Engineers.

• Apply best practices in software engineering, including testing, documentation, and system design.

• Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Engineers, and business stakeholders.

• Assess and integrate new technologies to enhance ML capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Machine Learning Engineering.

• Extensive experience in deploying and maintaining production ML systems.

• Proficient in Python and knowledgeable about the data science ecosystem.

• Practical experience with AWS, preferably with AWS SageMaker.

• Strong understanding of MLOps practices and lifecycle.

• Hands-on experience with MLflow.

• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD.

• Experience with at least one major deep learning framework, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Proven track record in designing and constructing scalable ML and data pipelines.

• Experience in ML system monitoring and observability.

• Ability to design, document, and articulate complex technical architectures.

• Experience in mentoring and providing technical direction to fellow engineers and data scientists.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Preferred: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or Machine Learning.

• Preferred: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Evidently AI.

• Preferred: Experience with large-scale recommender systems.

• Preferred: Solid understanding of software engineering and system design principles.
