This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Process loan applications as assigned.
• Manage applicant calls with precision, care, and urgency.
• Evaluate, validate, and process proof of income and identification documents prior to decision-making.
• Perform daily follow-ups via phone and email with applicants whose applications await documentation or information.
• Review applications in the active pipeline that have received new documentation or information from applicants.
• Follow up on applications escalated for Fraud Team review that remain unanswered within 24 hours.
• Comply with Genesys schedules for breaks, lunches, and assigned tasks.
• Maintain efficiency, quality, and speed while adhering to deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs) without increasing risk exposure.
• Identify risks, inconsistencies, or indicators of fraud and take appropriate actions to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with fraud prevention, BPO, and operations teams on processes, procedures, and decision-making.
• Identify gaps in processes and suggest solutions to enhance workflow, scalability, and performance.
• Provide feedback, trends, and insights to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and respond to Slack updates and follow-up requests.
• Attend team huddles, meetings, and scheduled training sessions.
• Complete BVS training assignments as required by the Compliance Team.
• Review QA scorecards and dispute findings as necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a loan origination environment.
• Ability to manage large volumes of applications while ensuring accuracy.
• Comfortable balancing application/case work with incoming phone calls.
• Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Adaptability to shifts in priorities and process updates.
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and accountability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in escalation situations.
• Positive, proactive attitude with curiosity about the impact on the Applicant journey.
• Availability to work from 9 AM to 6 PM EST for main shift hours and from 8 AM to 5 PM PST / 11 AM to 8 PM EST for training shifts for approximately 6 weeks.
• Must be open to working occasional weekends.
