Senior Licensing and Product Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the efforts in securing and maintaining B2B and B2C gambling licenses across relevant markets.

• Manage regulatory submissions, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.

• Monitor changes in regulations and convert them into actionable steps for the business.

• Assist in the development and upkeep of compliance policies, procedures, and operational instructions.

• Oversee compliance necessities from the initial idea through implementation and post-launch phases.

• Convert regulatory requirements into clear technical requirement packs for Product, Platform, and Tech teams.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that software solutions, workflows, and reporting adhere to applicable laws and regulations.

• Identify compliance gaps and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve them.

• Support new market launches by evaluating regulatory requirements and defining the scope of compliance.

• Lead and engage in platform and product certification processes, including GLI, PCI DSS, RTP, RNG, and other pertinent certifications.

• Coordinate compliance activities across various projects, stakeholders, and markets.

• Own strategies and procedures related to responsible gambling compliance.

• Identify opportunities to enhance and expand compliance processes.

• Keep track of regulatory developments, industry practices, and emerging requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory, or legal roles within the iGaming/gambling sector.

• In-depth understanding of gambling regulations, licensing requirements, and principles of responsible gambling.

• Practical experience with gambling license applications, regulatory submissions, and license management.

• Proficient in translating regulatory requirements into actionable requirements for Product, Platform, or Tech teams.

• Strong project management abilities, capable of driving compliance initiatives from requirements through to implementation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly explain complex regulatory topics to diverse stakeholders.

• Master’s degree in Law.

• Proficiency in Ukrainian or Russian and strong English, both written and spoken.

• Familiarity with platform or product certifications such as GLI, PCI DSS, RTP, or RNG is a plus.

• Experience in supporting new market entries and preparing technical requirement packs is advantageous.

• Background in responsible gambling frameworks and related product initiatives is a plus.

• Experience working across multiple regulated markets is a plus.
