Senior Land Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead surveying operations throughout the proposal, design, and construction phases of assigned projects.

• Manage survey scope in accordance with technical contracts.

• Assist in formulating change orders.

• Maintain project timelines.

• Ensure quality and responsiveness to fulfill both internal and external client requirements.

• Supervise survey activities performed by team members.

• Review project documentation, drawings, calculations, and specifications.

• Assume responsible charge of survey operations.

• Provide insights on strategic direction and technical services oversight.

• Coach, mentor, and develop the survey staff.

• Collaborate with business units and sales teams to foster revenue growth and broaden service offerings.

• Support proposal initiatives by developing, supplying resources, and reviewing proposals.

• Work in conjunction with the Proposal Development Team, Project Management group, and other departments.

• Foster positive relationships with current clients.


⛳️ Requirements

• A PLS license in one or more of the following states—Texas (RPLS), Wyoming, Kansas, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, or North Dakota—is mandatory.

• Must possess analytical skills, be self-driven, and able to perform under pressure while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.

• Strong interpersonal skills to establish and uphold effective working relationships with staff, management, the public, and external agencies.

• Ability to manage multiple projects with well-defined expectations and timelines.

• Exceptional presentation and verbal/written communication skills.

• High initiative and capability to explore new opportunities while recognizing organizational risks.

• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

• Additional software knowledge may be required based on specialty.

• Must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.

• Valid Driver’s License is required.

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

• Openness to innovation and the ability to implement evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
