Senior Java Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Create and develop back-end solutions utilizing Java, JPA, and SQL (Oracle)

• Design and configure business processes and mediation flows within BAW

• Streamline build and deployment processes by writing scripts using Maven, Ant, Jython, Python, Service Deploy, and WS Admin

• Oversee configuration and assist with network and database integration

• Engage in Proof of Concept (PoC) and discovery initiatives

• Clarify technical specifications with both the team and the client

• Contribute to a long-term project for an established client

• Involve in DevOps practices

• Develop and enhance enterprise solutions on WebSphere and Business Automation Workflow (BAW)

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience with Java at a senior level

• Practical experience with JPA

• Proficient in building and utilizing REST and SOAP web services

• Strong understanding of SQL

• Proficient in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or above

• Nice-to-have: Experience in BAW / Mediation Flow development and configuration

• Nice-to-have: Skills in WebSphere automation scripting

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Oracle DB

• Nice-to-have: Experience with Maven and Gradle

• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of WebSphere installation and configuration (Jython)

• Nice-to-have: Experience with AWS
