Senior Java Developer – Production Support and Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Address and resolve support tickets swiftly to minimize operational disruptions.

• Access and oversee databases for inquiries, script execution, and troubleshooting tasks.

• Unblock and handle process queues efficiently.

• Review source code to pinpoint issues and address root causes.

• Streamline workflows by automating processes and resolving support tickets.

• Provide assistance for systems developed in Java, Node.js, and Python.

• Work collaboratively with development teams to ensure uninterrupted service.

• Enhance and maintain monitoring and support scripts.

• Diagnose and rectify issues, including the implementation of workarounds.

• Suggest solutions to optimize resources, decrease computational costs, and enhance performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in Level 3 (L3) support or a comparable role.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, and Kotlin.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms offering similar services, including BigQuery, Spanner, GKE, Pub/Sub, and Storage.

• Advanced understanding of cloud computing resources, with the capability to architect and optimize existing infrastructures.

• Experience in processing large datasets.

• Knowledge of creating, modifying, and utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps methodologies.

• Experience with database querying using SQL.

• Familiarity with Redis, Grafana, and Airflow.

• Capability to execute scripts and automate processes for ticket resolution.

• Ability to read and analyze code to detect failures and bugs.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Proactive and organized, with a focus on results and efficiency.

• Preferred: experience in the financial market infrastructure sector.
