Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Improve existing Java systems by contributing to refactoring, architectural enhancements, and the implementation of new features.

• Carry out evolutionary and corrective maintenance alongside ongoing refactoring efforts.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define technical solutions.

• Assume responsibility for delivery quality, which includes implementation, testing, code reviews, and solution validation.

• Work with a degree of technical independence, acting as a team reference and aiding developers in their technical development.

• Engage in pair programming, conduct code reviews, and promote continuous improvement.

• Leverage AI tools and resources to facilitate development and boost productivity.

• Operate within a business-domain-driven context, possessing a thorough understanding of financial business regulations.

• Investigate new technologies and examine the influence of Artificial Intelligence on processes, experiences, and results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Java development, specifically with Java versions 6, 8, and 11.

• Proficiency in frontend development utilizing React.

• Background in developing and advancing Java applications within monolithic architectures.

• Experience using Spring for API development.

• Familiarity with unit and integration testing through JUnit.

• Strong understanding of development best practices: Clean Code, SOLID principles, code design, and refactoring techniques.

• Capability to read, assess, and refactor intricate code.

• Knowledge of or interest in Artificial Intelligence technologies, encompassing tools, applications, and concepts.

• Experience with or familiarity with Spec-Driven Development (SDD) is advantageous.
