Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve applications utilizing Java.

• Engage in portal takeover, migration, and modernization initiatives.

• Implement enhancements and new functionalities for portals and distribution channels.

• Conduct corrective and evolutionary maintenance on applications.

• Assist in the integration of systems and services.

• Participate in technical decision-making and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Ensure the quality, security, and performance of the developed solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Java development.

• Familiarity with developing and maintaining enterprise-grade applications.

• Experience with APIs and system integration.

• Background in the evolution, migration, or modernization of portals and web applications.

• Understanding of development best practices, code versioning, and testing methodologies.

• Preferred: experience in the insurance sector.

• Preferred: knowledge of digital distribution channels.

• Preferred: experience with legacy platform replacement or takeover projects.

• Preferred: familiarity with microservices architectures and integration environments.

• Preferred: knowledge of the Spring framework.
