Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, manage, and develop intricate software modules.

• Set up testing and integration environments to facilitate the development lifecycle.

• Execute code reviews that emphasize quality, performance, and compliance with best practices.

• Create documentation for software releases, maintenance, and installations.

• Conduct risk assessments to identify and communicate potential impacts on projects.

• Oversee the technical and operational relationship with clients within the designated area of responsibility.

• Aid decision-making processes by providing specialized technical advice.

• Assess the effort needed for tasks under your purview.

• Assist in managing and monitoring project deliverables and progress.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to outline and execute technology solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in Java development.

• Deep understanding of the Spring Framework, including Spring Batch, Spring Integration, Spring REST, and Spring Data.

• Proficient in developing and utilizing REST and SOAP Web Services.

• Familiarity with SOA and microservices architectures.

• Experience with SQL.

• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.

• Experience with code management and build tools such as Gradle and SVN.

• Understanding of design patterns, APIs, and software development best practices.

• Proficient in technical documentation tools such as Javadoc and Swagger.

• Advanced or fluent English (mandatory).

• Knowledge of Italian (an advantage).

• Experience in large-scale corporate environments (a plus).

• Background in projects that involve distributed architectures and complex integrations (a plus).

• Experience in defining architecture and providing technical leadership for development teams (a plus).
