Senior Java Back-end Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create software by coding applications, programs, and software systems in alignment with project specifications and requirements.

• Conduct testing on developed software, identifying and resolving coding issues, bugs, and failures to ensure quality delivery, meet deadlines, and uphold Certsys customer satisfaction.

• Document the developed code to aid in future product maintenance and updates.

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team in delivering high-quality solutions.

• Produce high-quality software solutions, ensuring that the code is efficient, scalable, and maintainable.

• Investigate and integrate new technologies to enhance software performance and efficiency.

• Monitor and track production systems to identify issues and implement appropriate solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline (preferred).

• Proficient knowledge of programming languages (preferred).

• In-depth understanding of frameworks and technologies (preferred).

• Strong knowledge of databases (preferred).

• Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies (preferred).

• Familiarity with code repositories, such as Git (preferred).

• Experience with Datadog.

• Understanding of databases, including SQL and complex queries.

• Knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, including Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, UrbanCode, and Spinnaker.

• Focus on GCP, Java, Python, Dataflow, Kafka, MySQL, and Spanner.

• Knowledge of container technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and others.

• Experience in programming using REST and JSON APIs.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Certification in programming languages (preferred).

• Cloud certification (preferred).

• Certification in Agile methodologies (preferred).
