Senior ITO Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Guide cross-functional teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Licensing, Digital Technology, Quality, EH&S, Schedule, Cost, Risk, and other areas to establish project scope, timeline, budget, and execution strategy during the proposal stage.

• Collaborate with functional teams and leadership to pinpoint necessary resources for executing proposed tasks and synchronize plans with business capacity.

• Coordinate input from internal and external stakeholders to achieve agreement on scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.

• Create detailed project schedules and cost estimates while identifying cost drivers related to the project.

• Assist the Commercial Operations Leader with scope, timeline, budget, execution plans, risk logs, and other project management artifacts for customer proposals.

• Recognize and evaluate project risks and formulate mitigation strategies.

• Integrate relevant lessons learned into proposal planning and provide project insights for the internal database.

• Occasionally assist or oversee OTR contracts and stay updated on project execution status to ensure readiness.

• Generate and distribute proposal/project documentation and facilitate internal reviews to ensure compliance with contract requirements, GVH processes and procedures, and relevant nuclear regulations.

• Act as the main link between commercial offerings and internal execution capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or college and 5+ years of project management experience, OR a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years of project experience.

• Demonstrated professional experience in project management or technical leadership on large-scale, First-of-a-Kind (FOAK), complex programs.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Must be able to secure authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

• Strong capability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent proposal deadlines and shifting priorities.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a STEM field.

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

• Experience in managing large-scale and/or mega projects, particularly in the nuclear sector.

• Knowledge of Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs.
