Senior IT Technology Services Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Serve as a reliable technical and delivery consultant, ensuring the protection and enhancement of customer investments in GCO.

• Take ownership of customer environments and provide guidance on essential and intricate landscape modifications throughout lifecycle management.

• Collaborate with internal GCO service delivery teams to ensure high-quality services across the customer lifecycle.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding technology and cloud service delivery conversations.

• Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and manage expectations related to service delivery.

• Function as the initial point of escalation.

• Facilitate technical discussions with clients and coordinate with SAP delivery specialists as necessary.

• Recognize interdependencies within and outside of GCO-managed customer environments.

• Assist Account and TechOps teams in implementing service delivery plans and schedules.

• Evaluate customer technical needs, liaise with GCO Delivery teams, and drive issues to resolution.

• Communicate the details of private offerings, technical specifics, and engagement models to stakeholders.

• Develop tailored cloud roadmaps for customers, encompassing infrastructure architecture, technical managed services, security, and integration.

• Advise clients on Business Continuity, Security and Compliance, Networks, and other related technical components.

• Evaluate customer security and network needs against SAP security architecture frameworks.

• Perform monthly technical and operational assessments against cloud architecture and roadmap advancement.

• Create and implement resolution plans until completion.

• Support migration strategies in collaboration with partners, System Integrators, or SAP Professional Services.

• A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with six (6) years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the offered position or a related field; alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline and four (4) years of experience.

• A minimum of four (4) years of experience with SAP S/4 HANA architecture and design.

• At least four (4) years of experience with SAP S/4 HANA upgrades and migrations.

• Four (4) years of experience in managing SAP HANA Database with a scale-out architecture.

• Four (4) years of experience in cloud computing within Azure.

• Four (4) years of experience in Automation (system restart and refresh) using SAP LaMa.

• Four (4) years of experience in troubleshooting production performance issues and optimization.

• Four (4) years of experience with Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Four (4) years of experience in supporting SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM), including SAP CC and CM.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification is required.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 60% to various unanticipated SAP offices and customer locations for implementations and workshops.
