Senior IT Project Manager, Industrial Manufacturing – Enterprise Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee IT projects from start to finish, encompassing initiation, planning, deployment, transition to Business As Usual (BAU), and closure.

• Take responsibility for scope, budget, timeline, quality, risks, dependencies, and delivery results.

• Set up project governance, which includes planning, financial tracking, RAID management, and reporting.

• Direct application and system integration projects, focusing on testing, deployment, and operational handover.

• Proactively identify issues, manage escalations, and drive decisions with well-defined options and recommendations.

• Lead cross-functional teams, including distributed and offshore vendors, across diverse cultures and locations.

• Collaborate with senior business and IT stakeholders.

• Conduct workshops and ensure clear, decision-focused communication.

• Organize and propel complex IT delivery, making sure that risks, dependencies, and accountability are transparent.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must currently reside in Spain.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience in IT Project Management.

• Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end delivery.

• Strong consulting experience with client-facing roles.

• Recent engagement in consulting settings.

• Extensive background in industrial and manufacturing sectors.

• Project Management experience related to application and system integration.

• Proven accountability for scope, budget, timeline, governance, RAID, and escalations.

• Familiarity with SAP/S4HANA, MES, PLM, CRM, or other manufacturing software.

• Experience in leading international and distributed/offshore teams.

• Strong practical understanding of structured project management methodologies, such as PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, or hybrid methods.

• Confidence in engaging directly with clients and senior stakeholders.

• Exceptional structured communication, synthesis, and active listening skills.

• Full professional proficiency in English (C2 level), both written and verbal.
