This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Support management in the planning and execution of intricate IT audit and consulting initiatives.
• Create objective, risk-focused assessments and auditing strategies.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and provide innovative, practical recommendations.
• Act as a technical advisor for IT components of financial and operational audits.
• Conduct audits of IT operations to ensure computing controls are effectively designed and implemented.
• Draft and present clear, concise, and insightful reports.
• Identify appropriate technical and security configurations for technical systems and infrastructure operations.
• Assist external auditors in tasks to facilitate timely completion.
• Stay updated on current technologies and best practices in IT.
• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a business degree with computing experience, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in IT auditing.
• Knowledge and experience in IT, encompassing distributed computing, IT security, system development, computer operations, business continuity management and disaster recovery, application software, telecommunications, and IT risk assessment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities to operate in an advisory role and mentor staff.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Preferred: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
• Preferred: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Preferred: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or a related certification.
