This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.
• Execute operational, financial, and compliance audit procedures within designated areas of responsibility.
• Analyze data to facilitate audit testing and uncover trends, anomalies, or potential control issues.
• Recognize control weaknesses, opportunities for process enhancement, and areas of compliance deficiency.
• Engage in walkthrough meetings to gain insights into business processes, associated risks, and essential controls.
• Document process flows, control activities, and risks that have been identified.
• Create comprehensive, precise, and timely audit workpapers in alignment with Internal Audit standards.
• Confirm audit findings with management.
• Compose clear and concise findings, substantiated by evidence and data analysis.
• Assist in annual risk assessments, special projects, and departmental initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of audit methodologies, templates, and best practices.
• Keep professional knowledge up to date through training, certifications, and research in the industry.
• Travel domestically up to 20% as necessary.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification from a recognized body (e.g., AICPA, IIA) or relevant audit-related certification is preferred.
• Over 3 years of internal audit experience conducting operational, compliance, and financial audits in a large multinational public organization.
• Professional skepticism and sound judgment in assessing control effectiveness and identifying issues.
• Results-driven, proactive, and upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Proficient command of the English language.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Must reside in one of the approved states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, or Washington.
