Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop software that supports Aetna Digital products and assists members in locating necessary care.

• Create and sustain website and mobile application experiences for millions of users.

• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and design teams to implement new features.

• Refactor existing code to enhance application stability and scalability.

• Contribute code and tests based on product-team standards.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and provide support for the application in a production environment.

• Improve application stability, performance, maintainability, and extensibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in iOS development.

• More than 5 years of experience with Swift programming.

• At least 5 years of experience using Git/Github.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Unit testing and UI testing.

• Over 2 years of experience with SwiftUI.

• At least 1 year of experience in accessibility and accessibility testing.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• High school diploma combined with 4 years of pertinent work experience as an alternative educational route.

• Extensive usage of SwiftUI in current iOS projects.

• Strong understanding of UIKit, Foundation, and other essential iOS frameworks.

• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe software development methodologies.

• Knowledge of MVC and MVVM architectural design patterns.

• Familiarity with iPhone accessibility features.

• Experience working with designers/design teams to implement user interfaces.

• Knowledge of Circle CI or similar CI/CD tools.
