R&D Intern – iOS Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with software engineers, AI development designers, and/or AI software developers.

• Create software that includes Mitel products, testing automation tools, or test scripts.

• Provide support to developers in infrastructure and development tasks.

• Produce high-quality software and solutions with guidance from seasoned engineers.

• Participate in coding activities, design discussions, and code reviews.

• Assist in the creation of technical documentation, encompassing design and implementation notes.

• Investigate software and AI concepts to aid in the development of innovative products.

• Learn and implement Agile development methodologies.

• Engage in mentorship from engineers to enhance technical expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with one or more years until graduation.

• Basic programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C++.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control systems.

• Understanding of programming concepts including object-oriented programming, full-stack, front-end, back-end, or mobile development.

• Proficient in English.

• Basic capabilities in iOS software development; attending the Apple Academy at PUC-PR university is a plus.

• Fundamental knowledge of AI, covering topics like Transformers, Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), vector spaces, similarity measures, distance functions, embeddings, representation learning, foundation models, large language models, web app development, and cloud platforms or serverless architecture.
