iOS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the iOS compliance module that enhances delivery compliance.

• Assist couriers throughout all phases of the delivery journey, from pickup to proof of delivery.

• Develop a completely new logistics application.

• Sustain the existing legacy platform.

• Deliver features promptly while ensuring high quality.

• Report directly to the Technology Manager.

• Collaborate with a customer-focused, full-stack team across Canada.

• Share expertise with engineers at all levels.

• Engage in Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, and code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mid-level experience as an iOS Engineer.

• Familiarity with the latest trends in iOS/Swift.

• Proficient in writing expressive, readable, composable, and testable Swift code.

• Understanding of the iOS application and view lifecycle.

• Basic knowledge of iOS provisioning profiles and certificates.

• Fundamental understanding of functional and reactive programming.

• Adherence to Clean architectural and coding principles.

• Experience with Mobile Automation Testing.

• Knowledge of UIKit and SwiftUI.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Effective verbal communication skills.

• Eagerness to share knowledge with engineers across all levels.

• Commitment to continuously enhancing quality standards.

• Familiarity with MVVM architectural patterns.

• Experience in releasing and maintaining live iOS/Cocoa applications.

• Knowledge of Fastlane and/or managing CI/CD workflows.

• Familiarity with debugging, performance evaluation, and test-driven development.

• Understanding of REST principles and some exposure to backend processes.

• Experience using Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket.

• Enthusiasm for engineering practices such as TDD, pair programming, and code reviews.
