This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Execute and manage complex valuation projects from the preparation of initial proposals to the completion of the project.
• Create dynamic Excel-based valuation models for comprehensive inventory analyses.
• Conduct valuation evaluations in orderly liquidation contexts.
• Carry out inventory reconciliations, as well as sales, gross margin, and expense analyses across various industries.
• Assist with inventory appraisals for asset-based lending (ABL) facility assessments.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and the internal ABL team to grasp requirements, process flow, and fundamental valuation factors.
• Play a role in enhancing the firm's inventory appraisal valuation services.
• Act as a primary contact for clients throughout engagements, overseeing the receipt of financial documents, addressing inquiries, and delivering completed valuation reports.
• Engage in business development initiatives, including conferences and networking events.
• Collaborate on projects with the division Director as necessary.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory valuation is essential.
• Professional designation (e.g., ASA, CFA, CPA, ABV) is preferred.
• Experience in machinery and equipment valuation is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is required.
• A solid understanding of economics, financial theory, and/or accounting principles is critical.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities are required.
• Effective organizational skills, particularly the ability to meet project deadlines with attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks successfully while working independently or as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment and manage several projects concurrently.
• Proficient in interacting with professionals at all levels.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
• Must not require LCG sponsorship now or in the future through any non-immigrant visa category such as H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, or TN.
• Bonus potential.
• Travel flexibility and opportunities (up to 20%).
