Senior Insurance Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct both physical and remote audits for insured businesses.

• Interview, investigate, gather, and document information for written reports submitted to insurance carriers.

• Execute audit activities as directed by the Area and/or Regional Manager.

• Establish audit priorities and schedule audits to adhere to deadlines.

• Draft appointment letters.

• Carry out thorough reviews of business records.

• Compile written reports detailing findings.

• Meet with business owners/managers to discuss audit outcomes and implement necessary actions.

• Submit completed reports to Quality Review by the designated due date.

• Amend and finalize audits that are returned for corrections and resend them to Quality Review.

• Keep precise records of audits, expenses, and time.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in remote/field Premium Insurance Audits.

• Capability to work independently from home.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are essential.

• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

• Self-motivated and disciplined.

• Eagerness to learn.

• Strong time management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Robust analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to operate with minimal direct supervision.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Capability to leverage available resources to complete assigned projects.

• Familiarity with computer applications for documenting and recording audit findings.

• Understanding of the significance of audit functions.
