Senior Institutional Services Automation Quality Control Analyst, Bonds, Cash, Trading

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Design, sustain, and implement both manual and automated test scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications.

• Collaborate with development teams to gain insights into system architecture and implementation.

• Engage in sprint planning and backlog refinement with Product Owner teams.

• Convert product requirements and acceptance criteria into detailed test automation scripts.

• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Document defects, confirm resolutions, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of quality assurance processes.

• Conduct root cause analysis of test failures and assist with debugging in collaboration with development teams.

• Ensure the setup of test data and readiness of the environment for automation execution.

• Keep automation documentation updated and publish reports on test execution status with traceability of feature-level test coverage.

• Communicate the status of automation testing to stakeholders.

• Comply with risk and regulatory standards, policies, controls, and the Company’s Risk Appetite.

• Identify risk-related issues that need to be escalated to management.

• Collaborate with technology and operations teams for post-production validation and ensure the ongoing stability and reliability of Cash & Trading capabilities.

• Uphold internal control standards and address audit and regulatory issues as necessary.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and control, focusing on the creation and maintenance of test scripts for desktop/web applications/API/web services testing; or, in the absence of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 2 years in software quality assurance and control experience, with a focus on the development and maintenance of test scripts for desktop/web applications/API/web services testing.

• Proficient programming skills in one or more relevant languages.

• Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and Development Operations practices.

• Knowledge of relevant defect tracking systems.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional organizational skills.

• Experience in testing cloud-based applications and APIs.

• In-depth domain expertise in the Cash & Trading sector, including knowledge of Trust Accounting Platform and its ecosystem, daily client reporting, multi-format statement creation, and internal operational reporting.

• Exposure to fintech platforms and emerging technologies, along with a solid grasp of modern digital ecosystems and integration patterns.

• Familiarity with AI concepts and tools, including AI-assisted testing, test data generation, and intelligent automation.

• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.

• Experience with relevant performance and load testing tools.

• Familiarity with security testing practices and tools.
