Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer – International mission

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Implement and maintain security controls in enterprise infrastructures, including workstations, servers, storage platforms, and mobile devices.

• Assess and strengthen security in Windows and Linux environments, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, VDI, and file services.

• Review infrastructure change requests, identify potential risks, and provide recommendations for secure implementations.

• Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of endpoint protection solutions and infrastructure security, especially Microsoft security technologies and preferably Trend Micro.

• Identify vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation activities, and drive continuous improvements in infrastructure security.

• Collaborate with internal IT teams, cybersecurity departments, external vendors, and managed service providers.

• Promote compliance with infrastructure security policies, technical standards, and cybersecurity best practices.

• Strengthen and maintain the security of complex infrastructures in international hybrid environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Engineering profile.

• Certified Engineer / Minimum educational requirement of a certified engineer.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

• 5–10 years of experience in enterprise or multinational environments (the profile also indicates at least 6 to 10 years of experience).

• Hands-on experience in infrastructure protection.

• Knowledge of Windows and Linux security.

• Familiarity with Active Directory.

• Understanding of virtualization and VDI.

• Expertise in endpoint security.

• Experience with Microsoft security solutions.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts.

• Preferably experience with Trend Micro.

• Ability to assess security risks and support remediation initiatives.

• Capacity to collaborate with infrastructure, IT operations, and cybersecurity teams.

• Availability to work remotely from Spain, preferably, or from another country in the European Union.
