Senior Information Technology Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee project timelines, team assignments, priorities, key milestones, and deliverables.

• Coordinate activities among technical, analytical, and support teams.

• Monitor project advancement, risks, challenges, and actionable items.

• Ensure that project requirements and deliverables are fulfilled accurately and punctually.

• Act as the main point of contact for project coordination and updates on status.

• Lead project meetings, communicating priorities, decisions, and necessary follow-up actions.

• Collaborate with technical leads and subject matter experts to address project challenges.

• Generate project status reports, schedules, briefings, and other documentation for management.

• Aid in resource planning to ensure proper staffing across project initiatives.

• Identify potential risks related to scheduling, staffing, or technology and propose feasible solutions.

• Maintain clear communication among client stakeholders, project teams, and company leadership.

• Offer guidance across various technical assignments as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in managing information technology, data, software, GIS, or similar technical projects.

• Experience in handling project schedules, staffing, deliverables, and competing priorities.

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business users, and client stakeholders.

• Ability to fulfill relevant client access requirements.

• Experience in managing projects related to GIS, data management, software applications, or enterprise information systems.

• Background in supporting government, facilities, real property, or asset management programs.

• Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS or similar GIS technologies.

• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a comparable project management credential is preferred but not mandatory.
