Senior Information Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Deliver security Incident Response services to clients

• Execute incident analysis, containment strategies, eradication, and recovery procedures

• Perform log reviews, analyze malware, gather evidence, and conduct forensic investigations

• Provide advice on and implement technical security solutions

• Conduct assessments related to technical security, social engineering, risk management, and overall security posture

• Act as a Virtual Security Engineer (vSE) for clients

• Oversee incident response cases from initiation to conclusion, including consultation and remediation efforts

• Carry out forensic analysis to discover system artifacts and clarify incident specifics

• Present and clarify security solutions to clients

• Support sales consultants and engineers in the design, review, validation, and optimization of security technologies

• Contribute to product selection, research, configuration standards, and best practices

• Educate sales teams on available products and services

• Cross-train and mentor HBS staff members

• Participate in on-call support for 24x7 incident response services

• Collaborate with the Practice Manager – Digital Forensics & Incident Response to create new cybersecurity offerings

• Achieve annual billable hour targets

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 8 years of relevant IT experience

• At least 3 years of experience with Active Directory (AD) and Azure

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field

• Outcome-oriented approach
