Scientist, Info Security Sys Engineering – AI Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement comprehensive AI security and governance frameworks that encompass the model lifecycle, data boundaries, and risk management controls.

• Oversee AI security services and policies within Microsoft Agent 365, Defender, Purview DLP, CoPilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, and AWS Bedrock.

• Provide guidance to leadership on the latest AI technologies, their associated risks, and strategies for secure platform adoption.

• Evaluate security and governance best practices to ensure their effective implementation across AI workloads.

• Assess service principles and conditional-access settings to uphold least-privilege and zero-trust access protocols.

• Collaborate with teams across Security Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Data/AI.

• Uphold and enforce the organizational security strategy in conjunction with IT and other business stakeholders.

• Simplify complex technical issues into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.

• Contribute to the development of security standards, architectural guidance, and policy enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of prior Palantir experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of prior Palantir experience.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 13 years of prior Palantir experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• 4–6 years of experience in cloud or security engineering.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365/Azure or AWS platforms.

• Preferred experience with O365 and Azure GCCH Government clouds.

• Familiarity with governance frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, CMMC, and ISO 27001 is preferred.

• Relevant certifications in Microsoft, cybersecurity, or AI are advantageous, including SC-200, SC-300, MS-102, AZ-104, SC-100, AI-102, CISSP, OSCP, and GIAC/SANS certifications.
