Retail Security Systems Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair inventory control and video surveillance systems in retail settings.

• Identify technical problems and provide quick, effective solutions.

• Engage directly with customers, offering training and support to enhance system efficiency.

• Efficiently manage service calls while ensuring thorough documentation.

• Maintain a parts inventory to optimize first-time fix rates and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Recognize opportunities for improving customer operations and communicate insights with leadership.

• Represent Johnson Controls with professionalism, technical proficiency, and a customer-centric approach.

• Required to travel 100% of the time in accordance with the IMPACT requirement.

• Cover the areas of West Tennessee and North Memphis.

⛳️ Requirements

• An EL06 License is mandatory.

• A solid understanding of electronics and networking principles.

• Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.

• Capability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.

• Ability to climb ladders and work across various field environments.

• Networking certifications are advantageous.

• Experience with IP camera systems, DVRs, or NVRs is a plus.

• Background in security, surveillance, or low-voltage installation is a plus.

• A strong eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies is a plus.
