Senior Information Security, Compliance Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main security liaison for business unit leaders, offering collaboration and expert security advice.

• Recognize, evaluate, and alleviate operational, cybersecurity, IT, strategic, and compliance risks.

• Create and supervise the execution of security policies, procedures, and controls.

• Ensure adherence to applicable security regulations, industry standards, and corporate policies.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address breaches and security incidents, minimizing their impact on the business.

• Work alongside IT and business units to embed cybersecurity into technological initiatives.

• Provide regular updates to senior management regarding the organization’s risk profile and risk management efforts.

• Oversee security budgets and allocate resources efficiently.

• Establish metrics that showcase the value and effectiveness of the risk governance program.

• Assist with regulatory compliance, risk management, M&A support, disaster recovery planning, and security awareness initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity/IT Risk Management/IT Audit (or information technology combined with cybersecurity), with a minimum of 5+ years in a role focused on operational security practices.

• Possess strategic thinking skills, with the ability to foresee risks and challenges, crafting proactive risk management strategies.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience collaborating with business leadership and handling enterprise projects.

• Proven understanding of a broad spectrum of cybersecurity solutions.

• Exceptional project management, multitasking, and organizational skills.

• Ability to engage with diverse teams and foster a positive security culture across the enterprise.

• Preferred, but not mandatory: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA.
