Senior Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement solutions for client challenges within assigned projects.

• Create work plans and define tasks under general supervision.

• Utilize extensive ICT infrastructure knowledge for intricate assignments.

• Survey, design, develop, and oversee construction administration of ICT infrastructure projects.

• Offer ICT design and consulting services for data centers, structured cabling systems, campus/WAN networks, passive optical networks, and outside plant.

• Execute ICT design and consulting responsibilities as part of a team of expert consultants.

• Collect and correlate engineering data using established protocols.

• Complete detailed and routine design and consulting tasks.

• Suggest solutions for new and complex challenges.

• Provide mentorship to internal mid-level consultants and production staff.

• Conduct work within established budgets and timelines with minimal oversight.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college/university, along with 8 years of pertinent experience, or a proven equivalency of experience and/or education.

• Current BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification required.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• The potential or desire to obtain a security clearance is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of design experience with ICT infrastructure.

• Professional experience and/or proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Visio Professional, Bluebeam Extreme (Revu), Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365 Suite, and other ICT-specific software.

• Professional experience and/or proficiency with permitting, state and local regulations, IEEE–C2 Standard, OSHA 1910 Standards, TIA cabling standards, TIA data center standards, and BICSI TDMM and other guidelines.

• Security clearance is preferred but not mandatory.

• Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not currently available, nor will it be in the future.
