Cortex Domain Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Advise and create customer solutions in collaboration with account teams within the assigned area of expertise.

• Act as a Cortex specialist when engaging with clients, from practitioners to senior leadership.

• Function as the primary technical liaison for Cortex and assist with RFIs/RFPs.

• Lead and facilitate customer demonstrations.

• Define and oversee Proof of Value projects for potential clients and partners.

• Enhance technical validation and increase Proof of Value success rates.

• Review product alignment, customer needs, and unique selling propositions.

• Design solutions to enhance and streamline customers’ security frameworks.

• Create documentation for High-Level Designs and Key Use Cases.

• Assist clients in developing services centered around Cortex solutions.

• Lead conversations regarding industry trends and shifts in the security landscape.

• Position services provided by Palo Alto Networks or partners for effective implementation and value realization.

• Initiate projects aimed at boosting team performance and aid in implementing organizational policies.

• Relay customer insights to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering in SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR settings.

• Experience in IBM QRadar design, deployment, and/or pre-sales is highly preferred.

• Proven experience collaborating with customers.

• Strong understanding of Security Operations Center processes.

• Advanced expertise in SIEM and/or SOAR solutions.

• Scripting experience is advantageous; Python is preferred.

• Proficient in English.

• Capability to attend in-person customer meetings; travel may be necessary.
