This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +4 more states.
• Act as the subject matter expert and main administrator for Human Resources software, applications, and solutions, including the HRIS platform.
• Oversee HR technology architecture, product roadmaps, configuration standards, data integrity, and governance across People Services systems.
• Offer guidance, mentorship, technical direction, and coaching to the HRIS Analyst II without having direct supervisory authority.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues and provide support to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve workflows, security access, user roles, dashboards, and automated processes.
• Input and update employee data while adhering to data governance, privacy, security, and internal policies.
• Conduct complex data validation, testing, audits, and troubleshooting.
• Establish risk-based controls and monitoring for sensitive employee and candidate data, including AI-enabled outputs.
• Define People Services reporting standards, data definitions, metric governance, and quality controls.
• Provide workforce insights for planning, talent acquisition, service delivery, compliance, and organizational growth.
• Lead or assist in implementations, integrations, acquisitions, workforce transitions, major releases, upgrades, and new HR technology projects.
• Collaborate with IT, People Services, and other departments to ensure systems are aligned with business processes.
• Deliver end-user training and support to staff, managers, and employees.
• Head the People Services AI enablement workstream, which includes use-case governance, risk evaluation, testing, human oversight, and effectiveness monitoring.
• Identify opportunities to optimize People Services processes and workflows.
• Develop a sustainable operating model with intake standards, prioritization, documentation, release calendars, service measures, knowledge transfer, and continuity procedures.
• Engage in continuous improvement and provide backup support for critical HRIS Analyst II responsibilities.
• Uphold the confidentiality of member, team member, and other sensitive information.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a medium to large multi-state organization designing, supporting, and implementing full-suite or multi-module HRIS systems and other Human Resources software/applications/solutions.
• At least 2 years’ experience in leading and managing system implementation projects.
• A minimum of 1 year’s experience integrating human resource-related AI solutions.
• Proven experience owning an HR technology roadmap, governing integrations and releases, leading enterprise-scale cross-functional initiatives, and establishing reporting, data, security, or AI controls.
• Advanced understanding of HRIS systems, integrations, vendors, system utilization, infrastructure design, modifications, and enhancements.
• Extensive knowledge of HR disciplines and programs, governance, and AI solution enablement.
• Advanced knowledge of HR technology architecture, integration and API concepts, identity and access management, data governance, privacy, audit controls, vendor risk, change governance, analytics governance, and responsible AI principles.
• Proficient reporting and analytical skills with large datasets.
• Ability to align system strategy with business strategy.
• Exceptional communication skills and capability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong critical-thinking and attention-to-detail abilities.
• Advanced project management and process workflow skills.
• Capability to develop technology roadmaps and business cases, facilitate governance decisions, translate requirements into system controls, influence across functions, coach technical staff, and measure adoption, risk reduction, service performance, and value.
• Outstanding organizational, prioritization, follow-up, and negotiation skills; adept at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
• Highly skilled in HRIS/AT systems and cloud or web-based applications.
• Advanced Excel capabilities and proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• HRIS Certification.
• Preferred: at least 4 years of recent experience with Ceridian/Dayforce.
• Preferred: 3 years of HRIS and/or human resource experience within a financial institution.
• Preferred: experience in enabling recruiting technology and talent acquisition analytics; supporting mergers, acquisitions, conversions, or significant workforce integration.
