📋 Description

• Take charge of the design aspect of the experimentation roadmap, which includes generating hypotheses, designing variants, analyzing results, and documenting insights.

• Develop and manage a test backlog based on heatmaps, session replays, funnel drop-off analysis, and post-purchase feedback.

• Collaborate with the CRO Manager to assess, prioritize, and schedule experiments based on their potential revenue impact.

• Maintain the institutional CRO design library that records successful patterns, unsuccessful variants, and their justifications.

• Execute experiments consistently with a focus on both speed and thoroughness.

• Enhance CVR, CTR, AOV, and LTV through effective design implementation on product detail pages (PDPs), checkout processes, landing pages, upsell flows, and post-purchase interactions.

• Use data to pinpoint friction points in the customer journey.

• Establish and monitor performance benchmarks for key design choices.

• Convert test findings into design principles.

• Manage the Figma component library, design tokens, and documentation of patterns.

• Establish collective workflows, a critique culture, file organization, and standards for CRO design handoffs.

• Act as the internal expert at the intersection of design and conversion.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of design experience, with considerable recent exposure to DTC or ecommerce, particularly in PDPs, checkout processes, subscription experiences, and landing pages; this is essential.

• A portfolio showcasing quantifiable business impact, such as improvements in CVR, increases in CTR, and growth in AOV.

• Demonstrated experience managing an experimentation workflow from hypothesis formulation and variant design to result analysis and pattern documentation.

• Experience in building, maintaining, and scaling design systems in Figma, covering components, variants, design tokens, documentation, and governance.

• Proficiency with behavioral analytics tools, such as heatmaps, session replay, funnel analytics, and A/B testing platforms.

• Capability to work independently at a senior level, manage a project from start to finish, proactively communicate challenges, and keep progress on track.

• Comfortable presenting and justifying design choices using data and business logic to non-design stakeholders.

• Advanced skills in Figma.

• Experience with Illustrator or Photoshop is an advantage.

• Direct experience collaborating with a CRO or growth team is a plus.

• Familiarity with Shopify or headless commerce platforms is an added benefit.

• Background in direct-response marketing or performance-oriented creative work is a plus.

• Experience developing a CRO design system or experimentation library from the ground up is an advantage.

• Exposure to subscription ecommerce and retention-focused design is beneficial.

🏝️ Benefits

• Your design choices are evaluated based on actual conversion data.

• A non-political environment focused purely on execution within a fast-paced, high-ownership, results-oriented culture.

• The chance to contribute to the growth of a 9-figure DTC brand poised for global expansion.

• A kind, people-centered team that fosters open communication, collaboration, and mutual support.

• A culture that prioritizes growth and continuous improvement.

• Remote-first and flexible work arrangements; enjoy the freedom to work from anywhere with autonomy and trust.
