Senior GRC Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Continuously identify, document, and assess control nonconformities and unresolved/high-risk vulnerabilities from various sources.

• Maintain the Risk Registry and provide timely updates and reports on risk treatment to stakeholders.

• Conduct annual third-party cybersecurity risk assessments, ensuring they align with internal risk standards and external compliance obligations.

• Sustain and improve the cybersecurity control framework by mapping existing controls, gathering evidence of execution, identifying gaps or inconsistencies, and consolidating overlapping requirements into a cohesive structure.

• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as HITRUST, HIPAA, and Spain ENS certification.

• Develop and uphold cybersecurity-related policies and procedures.

• Ensure that documentation meets regulatory and contractual standards.

• Proficient in English for communication with international clients.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed decisions in high-pressure environments.

• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, identify potential vulnerabilities, and propose strategies for risk mitigation.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that GRC policies, procedures, and controls are effectively communicated and executed.

• Lead the maintenance and updating of documentation related to GRC processes, including risk assessments, policies, and procedures.

• Participate in internal and external audits, offering support and documentation as necessary to demonstrate compliance.

• Solid understanding of GRC frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
