This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the design, execution, and oversight of security controls and solutions across the HomeServe organization.
• Ensure the maintenance of adequate security documentation.
• Oversee the daily administration of security tools and devices.
• Develop security strategies, assess emerging threats, and implement scalable security measures.
• Identify and prioritize security needs in collaboration with business units and risk management functions.
• Conduct advanced risk assessments and evaluate business impacts.
• Formulate enterprise strategies, roadmaps, and technical standards.
• Lead assessments of controls and vulnerabilities while directing remediation efforts.
• Communicate residual risks, vulnerabilities, compliance issues, and emerging threats to the Director of Information Security and management.
• Provide guidance on application development, acquisition, and infrastructure projects.
• Direct security architecture decisions, policies, and standards.
• Establish and enhance baseline security configurations.
• Manage the resolution of findings from internal and external audits.
• Lead or assist with significant security incidents, investigations, and compliance evaluations.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and analysts.
• Investigate, assess, and pilot new technologies, threats, and industry trends.
• Represent Information Security in cross-functional projects, audits, and external evaluations.
• Foster collaboration between IT and business teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in the Information Security sector, with a trajectory towards senior-level roles.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or equivalent security credentials.
• Comprehensive knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Experience with SOC, SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IAM, PAM, and cloud security solutions.
• Background in securing generative and agentic AI technologies.
• Understanding of securing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proficient in a modern programming language, centralized configuration management platforms, or SOAR playbook development.
• Experience in advanced risk assessments, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and forensic investigations.
• Extensive knowledge of network infrastructure and related protocols.
• Ability to design, validate, and enhance enterprise baseline configurations.
• Experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining enterprise-level security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Capacity to serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point.
• Proven leadership in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to balance hands-on technical tasks with advisory and oversight roles.
• Must fulfill the physical demands of the position, including occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.
