Senior GRC Analyst I, ISO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Manage a diverse range of external audit client engagements, overseeing all phases from planning and scoping to testing, issue resolution, and finalization.

• Ensure that audit testing and documentation are precise, consistent, and of the highest quality.

• Oversee timelines, prioritize tasks, and align client expectations.

• Effectively communicate engagement progress, requirements, risks, challenges, results, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

• Develop and nurture strong client relationships while comprehending client operations, objectives, risks, and challenges.

• Utilize sound judgment to address issues and escalate significant risks, delays, or concerns as necessary.

• Offer guidance, coaching, and informal mentorship to GRC Analysts.

• Assess the work of junior team members and provide constructive feedback.

• Aid in training, onboarding, knowledge sharing, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Assist in the development of methodologies, templates, tools, and internal procedures.

• Identify chances to enhance engagement quality and efficiency.

• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging risks, regulatory changes, and evolving best practices.

• Engage in continuous professional development and education efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in governance, risk management, compliance, cybersecurity, audit, advisory, consulting, or similar professional services roles.

• Experience in supporting and applying one or more frameworks related to governance, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, privacy, or regulatory standards within client or organizational settings.

• Proven experience in mentoring or coaching junior professionals.

• Background in a consulting, advisory, audit, or professional services environment.

• Experience in supporting or leading assessments against standard governance, risk, compliance, privacy, or cybersecurity frameworks.

• Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English, with the capability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, colleagues, and leadership.
