Senior Graphic Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Spearhead visual concepts for the client's brand and the associated brands, overseeing the process from initial brief to final output.

• Transform briefs and business objectives into innovative strategies for campaigns, product launches, and branding initiatives.

• Uphold and enhance visual identities, brand guidelines, and design systems.

• Create digital and print materials, including social media graphics, web visuals, advertisements, brochures, infographics, presentations, packaging, and event-related materials.

• Evaluate the work of junior and mid-level designers, offering constructive feedback.

• Set design standards, workflows, and best practices.

• Collaborate with marketing, production, and client stakeholders to clarify requirements, showcase concepts, justify design choices, and manage feedback.

• Develop GIFs, basic animated social media assets, and simple short-form videos.

• Juggle multiple projects and deadlines while ensuring high-quality output.

• Conduct final checks for accuracy and brand alignment, export assets according to platform specifications, and organize the design asset library and file naming conventions.

• Coordinate weekly priorities with marketing and production teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within a creative agency, marketing team, or in-house brand team.

• A robust portfolio demonstrating brand identity projects, campaign design, and a diverse range of digital and print initiatives managed from start to finish.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Familiarity with Figma and Canva.

• Capability to create GIFs and basic videos utilizing tools like CapCut or Premiere Pro.

• Practical experience using AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, and ChatGPT.

• Comprehensive understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, layout, and visual storytelling.

• Experience in developing and maintaining brand guidelines or design systems.

• Background in mentoring designers and providing constructive feedback.

• Strong knowledge of social media, digital advertising formats, and print specifications.

• Keen attention to detail and effective time management, with the ability to oversee multiple brands and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present and advocate for concepts to clients and stakeholders, and to iterate swiftly based on feedback.
