Senior Grants Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage and enhance the entire lifecycle of grants, encompassing application assessments, compliance oversight, reporting, and financial management.

• Evaluate grant proposals and budgets for viability and alignment with the organization’s objectives and funding stipulations.

• Ensure adherence to grant regulations, donor stipulations, and internal guidelines.

• Create reports and presentations regarding grant performance, financial conditions, and compliance status.

• Offer suggestions for enhancements and implement best practices in grant management.

• Work in conjunction with finance, program managers, and external partners on grant-related initiatives.

• Keep track of grant trends, funding prospects, and regulatory developments to support strategic decision-making.

• Guide and mentor junior grants analysts.

• Assist in ongoing improvement initiatives within the grants team.

• Utilize site start-up and activation expertise to achieve high-quality results and mentor colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Significant experience in grants management and analysis, demonstrating a successful history of managing and improving grant administration processes.

• Strong knowledge of grant regulations, donor guidelines, and compliance standards.

• Exceptional analytical abilities, capable of reviewing intricate grant proposals, evaluating budgets, and providing practical insights.

• Proficient in grants management software and financial reporting tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

• Excellent organizational capabilities, with the capacity to handle multiple grants and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
