Senior Geospatial Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Lead and implement geospatial analytics along with all-source intelligence methodologies, theories, and frameworks.

• Utilize AI/ML, data quality, enhancement, and stewardship processes and techniques for research purposes.

• Address and clarify intricate geospatial and all-source intelligence analytic challenges.

• Create and manage data stewardship techniques and best practices.

• Work in collaboration with data providers and analysts to enhance access to crucial data.

• Take charge of curating country and regional pages in EDA.

• Leverage knowledge from peers to grasp analytic trends and initiatives.

• Provide support to the US Southern Command J2 Research Analysis Support at SOUTHCOM.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Geography, Geospatial Science, GIS, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; or a minimum of 7 years of experience in these areas or in supporting DoD geospatial and all-source analysis, research, and production.

• Proficient knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise systems along with data stewardship tools, catalogs, techniques, and processes.

• An active TS/SCI security clearance.

• Certifications or training in Esri GIS or related technologies, Python, R, JSON, HTML/XML, SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, OSINT, and All-Source Intelligence analytic methodology are beneficial but not mandatory.

• A Master's degree is preferred.
