This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research on healthcare system websites, databases, and reference materials in alignment with departmental and corporate guidelines.
• Gather and document information regarding physicians, dentists, specialists, eldercare services, nursing homes, and other related resources.
• Determine suitable benefit plans and options as necessary.
• Deliver precise and comprehensible research findings to nurses, advocates, and internal stakeholders.
• Address member inquiries with clear resources and available choices.
• Input and sustain accurate records in internal systems.
• Organize research outcomes in a user-friendly manner to aid member decision-making.
• Monitor cases and carry out timely follow-ups with members and providers.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, procedures, HIPAA, COBRA, and relevant federal and state regulations.
• Observe recurring research challenges or trends and escalate issues to leadership.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• An associate degree in business, liberal arts, healthcare management, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare-related role is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette.
• Excellent listening abilities and capacity to comprehend and clarify requests.
• Solid problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a dedication to quality.
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities, including consistent follow-up.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and web-based research tools.
• Capability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) may be required based on the assignment.
