Senior Gameplay Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance features, mechanics, and fundamental gameplay systems for Cyberpunk 2.

• Suggest innovative and captivating designs that align with the overall vision of the game.

• Evaluate, propose, prototype, create, and fine-tune dynamic gameplay, abilities, and mechanics.

• Collaborate and contribute within a multidisciplinary team.

• Continuously improve designs utilizing both internal and external feedback.

• Stay updated on industry trends, including emerging game genres, design methodologies, and audio-visual excellence.

• Report directly to the Lead Gameplay Designer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in the AAA game industry within a game design capacity.

• Demonstrated success in creating engaging and innovative gameplay mechanics.

• Experience in developing shooters, open-world, role-playing, and/or action games.

• Capability to adjust to shifting priorities and the evolving needs of projects.

• Openness to experimentation.

• Dedication to producing high-quality work.

• Positive, team-oriented mindset.

• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4 and/or 5 (preferred, but not mandatory).

• Experience across various phases of AAA game production (preferred, but not mandatory).

• In-depth knowledge of CD PROJEKT RED games and other narrative or role-playing-focused titles (preferred, but not mandatory).

• Enthusiasm for the cyberpunk genre and gaming in general (preferred, but not mandatory).

• Candidates for remote roles in the US must reside in designated eligible US states or Canada.

• Successful candidates will need to undergo a background check.
