Senior Game Security Analyst – Ricochet Anti-Cheat

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations into suspicious player accounts by utilizing gameplay telemetry, behavioral indicators, and internal anti-cheat mechanisms.

• Examine evidence linked to potential cheating, exploitation, boosting, and other integrity breaches.

• Render precise and consistent enforcement decisions, which may include account suspensions and other disciplinary measures.

• Detect patterns, trends, and emerging cheating behaviors within the player community.

• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to enhance detection accuracy and minimize false positives.

• Validate new anti-cheat detection methods prior to extensive implementation.

• Assist with incident response during significant cheating incidents, emerging exploits, or high-profile inquiries.

• Record investigative outcomes and maintain thorough documentation of enforcement actions.

• Offer insights on enforcement policies, processes, and tools to enhance operational efficiency.

• Aid in the establishment of best practices that bolster the consistency, accuracy, and effectiveness of player investigations.

• Foster a culture of fairness, accountability, and ongoing improvement within game security operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in game security, trust and safety, fraud detection, player support investigations, cybersecurity, or a similar analytical field.

• Proven experience in investigating irregular behavior, abuse, fraud, policy infractions, or suspicious activities.

• Skilled in handling large datasets and discerning patterns in behavioral data.

• Familiarity with SQL for analyzing player activity data.

• Experience with investigative processes and case management systems.

• Understanding of data analysis techniques and relevant metrics.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.

• Exceptional written communication and documentation skills.

• Capable of making objective, evidence-based decisions in a dynamic operational setting.

• Proven track record of collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to evaluate multiple information sources and consolidate findings into coherent conclusions.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and consistency.

• Enthusiasm for multiplayer gaming and maintaining competitive integrity.

• Knowledge of cheating, exploitation, abuse, and competitive integrity issues in online gaming.

• Proficient in effectively managing workload across various investigations.

• Strong judgment and discretion in handling sensitive enforcement matters.
