Security Analyst – Identity and Access Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution of EMCOR’s Security Program by managing identity systems, which includes SSO, PAM, and user lifecycle management.

• Leverage Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender with KQL to improve threat detection and automate responses.

• Offer subject-matter expertise during security incidents, document findings, and suggest improvements for incident response.

• Design, implement, maintain, monitor, and refine Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender monitoring, custom KQL queries, and automation processes.

• Keep an eye on emerging threats and counsel stakeholders on appropriate responses.

• Investigate and address IAM security incidents utilizing established tools and procedures.

• Support and oversee the enterprise information security system.

• Manage daily operations and provide support for IAM products, including incident resolution and ticket management.

• Administer Entra ID, focusing on SSO, Conditional Access, and modern authentication methods.

• Deploy and sustain IAM systems for user lifecycle management, access governance, and PAM.

• Work collaboratively with security and IT teams to enhance IAM maturity and awareness.

• Maintain and upgrade servers and applications that support security tools.

• Execute special projects as required.

• Support and uphold EMCOR’s Security Program.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years' experience with Microsoft Active Directory, ideally in a multi-domain setting.

• At least three years' experience with Microsoft Entra ID.

• A minimum of two years' experience using the Microsoft Defender Platform and/or Microsoft Sentinel.

• At least one year of experience with Privileged Access Management systems.

• Proficient in PowerShell for administration and automation tasks.

• Practical experience and/or a thorough understanding of MFA, SSO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID, SCIM, and REST API.

• Capability to provide subject-matter expertise during security incidents.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with personnel across all levels of the organization.
