Senior Game Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Develop and introduce new game content and features for Transformers: Earth Wars.

• Design and implement significant systems, progression mechanics, event frameworks, combat updates, and game characters from initial concept to final data integration.

• Evaluate and enhance the game economy, gameplay loops, and combat mechanics.

• Utilize data analysis and forecasting to build strategic depth and promote healthy shifts in the metagame.

• Produce comprehensive design documentation that outlines the rationale behind features.

• Present and advocate for designs to stakeholders, utilizing player data and industry best practices.

• Offer constructive feedback to colleagues on their design work.

• Share in-depth knowledge of Unity tools, balance strategies, and live game optimization techniques.

• Collaborate with production teams to establish scope and technical specifications.

• Partner with art and engineering teams to enhance the content pipeline and maintain a monthly release schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in game/content design, preferably on live hero/character-driven mobile or free-to-play games.

• Strong grasp of game systems, balance, and player motivation within free-to-play frameworks.

• Proficient in using Unity and internal content development tools.

• Analytical mindset with the capability to utilize data and feedback for design refinement.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, especially within cross-functional and globally distributed teams.

• A deep passion for mobile gaming.

• Focused on impact with an understanding of the 80/20 rule.

• Performance-oriented and driven by growth.

• Cooperative, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
