Senior Game AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance gameplay AI systems for an exciting co-development initiative with Epic.

• Collaborate with the design team to establish AI requirements.

• Refine AI systems to deliver enjoyable, engaging, and rewarding AI interactions.

• Work alongside designers, artists, animators, and engineers to create AI behaviors and scenarios.

• Architect and propel game AI systems and frameworks.

• Create game AI testing scenarios and integrate them with the QA team.

• Partner with production and leadership to formulate and oversee production tasks related to AI features.

• Manage your own time and responsibilities effectively.

• Engage in playtests and devise solutions for AI challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in game engineering.

• More than 3 years of experience focused on game AI.

• Proficient in developing AI features within Unreal Engine.

• Strong programming expertise in C/C++.

• Experience shipping a title as an AI Engineer is a plus.

• Familiarity with developing AI behaviors for FPS games is desirable.
