Senior Functional Consultant – Commercial Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact between clients and the technical team, converting business requirements into solution designs and comprehensive functional specifications.

• Address program-related issues and concerns to sustain project momentum and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Offer strategic consulting based on insights from the banking industry, nCino best practices, industry trends, and regulatory obligations.

• Discover efficient solutions to intricate challenges and propose best practices and enhancements through benchmarking and analysis.

• Exhibit expertise in nCino products, conduct demonstrations and training sessions, and deliver ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance.

• Promote the adoption of nCino within financial institutions by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.

• Supply updates on project status, risk assessments, reports, presentations, and actionable insights.

• Utilize project management tools, change management principles, agile methodologies, and nCino techniques to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.

• Advise system integrator partners, evaluate customization trade-offs, and ensure that solutions align with nCino standards.

• Facilitate status meetings, maintain project timelines, and monitor responsibilities and deadlines.

• Train and assist end users through workshops, documentation, training materials, and user manuals.

• Leverage AI tools and methodologies to automate repetitive tasks, enhance accuracy, and improve operational efficiency.

• Use AI-driven insights to elevate decision-making, customer experience, and team productivity.

• Keep abreast of advancements in AI to foster continuous learning and scalable growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Management, Information Technology) or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in banking or a related sector.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks with accuracy, utilizing strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Effectively communicates across all levels, translating complex information into clear, audience-appropriate messages.

• Successfully leads projects with minimal supervision, showing initiative while appropriately escalating issues as needed.

• Builds credibility and influence through open communication, collaborative engagement, and consistent follow-through.

• Actively contributes to organizational change by identifying improvement opportunities and constructively challenging current processes.

• Experience with Salesforce.

• Job may require travel.
