Senior Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive the strategy for client solutions, encompassing related processes, configurations, and add-ons.

• Provide customized best practices and methodologies for complex business use cases and requirements.

• Develop strategies for configuration and business processes.

• Oversee the implementation process of Kantata.

• Lead the solution strategy for the primary Kantata solution and coordinate with delivery specialists.

• Collaborate with project teams and clients to grasp technical aspects and ensure the quality of deliverables.

• Identify, evaluate, and resolve intricate business challenges.

• Align client business needs and goals with Kantata solutions and best practices.

• Facilitate requirements gathering, functional design, system testing, user acceptance testing, troubleshooting, change management, and training.

• Configure Kantata for solution deployment, which includes custom reports, integrations, and data migrations.

• Provide consultation on industry standards and Kantata best practices.

• Manage tasks, timelines, and estimated efforts for service projects.

• Apply Kantata’s implementation methodology and best practices.

• Contribute to consultant tools, documentation, and process enhancements.

• Enhance organizational methodologies, processes, practices, product suite, and implementation methodology.

• Create and share repeatable processes and quality deliverables across projects.

• Promote collaboration and teamwork by sharing knowledge, information, perspectives, skills, and expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in designing, configuring, and deploying SaaS-based software solutions, including custom reports and dashboards.

• Preferred experience in implementing a Professional Services Automation (PSA) solution.

• Proven experience in software implementation with the capability to execute project plans and deliver client-facing outputs.

• Leading solution design workshops, defining business requirements, and recommending business processes.

• Documenting business requirements, processes, and technical specifications.

• Strong skills in building client relationships and partnerships.

• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Competence in addressing challenging and complex issues.

• Understanding of scope management and recognizing potential scope risks.

• Domain expertise in services sales, finance, and operations.

• Preferred experience in designing, configuring, and deploying SaaS-based solutions on the Salesforce Platform.

• Familiarity with commonly used business applications.

• Experience with common system integration techniques and technologies, including Web services preferred.

• Experience working with relational databases and data interdependencies preferred.

• Familiarity with cloud-based or on-premise applications and architectures, including web services, APIs, and XML/JSON data structures is advantageous.

• Ability to translate AI capabilities into business results.

• Ethical awareness regarding AI, including limitations, bias risks, and the necessity of human judgment.

• Keeping abreast of AI advancements pertinent to professional services and SaaS delivery.

• Bachelor's degree required; B.Tech or equivalent qualification preferred.

• Over 10 years of industry experience in a customer-facing technical role such as professional services, consulting, or technical support.

• Extensive technical knowledge of internet-based products and technologies.
