Senior Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategy for client solutions, including associated processes, configurations, and enhancements.

• Offer customized best practices and methodologies for intricate business scenarios and requirements.

• Formulate strategies for configuration and business processes.

• Oversee the implementation processes for Kantata.

• Direct the solution strategy for the main Kantata offering.

• Coordinate with delivery specialists to guarantee coherent, consistent, and efficient solutions and implementation initiatives.

• Work alongside project teams and clients on technical details and the quality of deliverables.

• Recognize, evaluate, and resolve complex business challenges.

• Align client business needs and objectives with Kantata solutions and industry best practices.

• Facilitate requirements gathering, functional design, system testing, user acceptance testing, issue troubleshooting and resolution, change management, and training.

• Configure Kantata for deployments, which includes custom reports, integrations, and data migrations.

• Provide insights on industry standards and Kantata best practices.

• Oversee tasks, timelines, and estimated remaining effort for service projects.

• Implement Kantata’s methodology to ensure successful client deployments.

• Contribute to consultant tools, documentation, and process enhancements.

• Enhance organizational methodologies, processes, practices, product suite, and service implementation strategies.

• Develop and disseminate repeatable processes and quality deliverables across projects.

• Encourage collaboration and teamwork by sharing knowledge, information, perspectives, skills, and expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing, configuring, and deploying SaaS-based software solutions, including custom reports and dashboards.

• Prior experience with implementing a Professional Services Automation (PSA) solution is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in software implementation and executing project plans.

• Experience in producing deliverables for clients.

• Background in leading solution design workshops.

• Experience in defining business requirements and suggesting business processes.

• Skilled in documenting business requirements, processes, and technical specifications.

• Strong skills in client relationship management and partnership building.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Competence in addressing challenging and complex issues.

• Understanding of scope management and the ability to identify potential scope risks.

• Domain expertise in services sales, financials, and operations.

• Preferably experienced in designing, configuring, and deploying SaaS-based software solutions on the Salesforce Platform.

• Familiarity with common business applications.

• Experience with system integration methods and technologies, including Web services is preferred.

• Knowledge of relational databases and data interdependence is preferred.

• Experience with cloud-based or on-premise applications and architectures, including web services, APIs, and XML/JSON data structures, is advantageous.

• Ethical understanding of AI, including its limitations, bias risks, and the necessity for human judgment.

• Ability to keep up with AI developments pertinent to professional services and SaaS delivery.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a B.Tech or equivalent qualification is preferred.

• Over 10 years of industry experience in a customer-facing technical role such as professional services, consulting, or technical support.

• Extensive technical knowledge of internet-based products and technologies.
