Senior Fullstack Engineer, TS/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance Equitable Earth’s web and mobile applications.

• Design, implement, and maintain features utilizing TypeScript, React, AdonisJS, NestJS, and React Native.

• Take full ownership of features from gathering requirements and technical design through to implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration.

• Refactor and optimize the codebase to ensure quality, reliability, and performance.

• Write clean, thoroughly tested code.

• Contribute through code reviews, pair programming, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

• Collaborate within the dynamic feature crew system.

• Lead feature crews and initiatives when appropriate.

• Mentor and support fellow engineers.

• Share knowledge and enhance engineering practices and methodologies.

• Utilize AI agents, MCP servers, and other AI tools to boost developer productivity, code quality, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Identify opportunities to implement emerging AI technologies in products and engineering workflows.

• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to decision-making.

• Take charge of significant features or initiatives as a trusted senior engineer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Fullstack Engineer.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and backend development.

• Excellent technical expertise in software engineering, including writing clean and maintainable code, testing, debugging, APIs, version control, architecture, and system design.

• Substantial experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows.

• Proven history of technical ownership, leading intricate features or projects from start to finish.

• Experience in mentoring other engineers and enhancing engineering standards through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.

• Familiarity with AdonisJS and NestJS is advantageous.

• Experience incorporating AI in development, particularly with AI agents, MCP servers, tool calling, AI platforms, or agentic workflows.

• Fluent in English.

• Proficiency in French is a plus.
