Senior Fullstack Engineer – Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +19 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop growth and retention features from start to finish across the TypeScript backend and React frontend.

• Collaborate with the engineering lead, product manager, and designer to plan growth and retention initiatives.

• Deploy features and experiments using feature flags.

• Establish success metrics prior to launching.

• Implement features and experiments, then analyze results in collaboration with the product team.

• Utilize experiment outcomes and data to inform future development decisions.

• Review code contributions from fellow engineers.

• Investigate and resolve incidents in assigned patient-experience domains.

• Enhance patient onboarding, treatment retention, conversion rates, performance, accessibility, and usability.

• Achieve specified outcomes in the first six months, including multiple launched experiments, instrumentation reviews, and improvements in performance/accessibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in production builds of backend APIs using TypeScript on AWS (Lambda or ECS).

• Front-end development experience with React, preferably using MUI and Vite.

• Capable of taking ownership of a feature from API through to UI.

• Proven track record of shipping growth or retention features in a consumer-focused product.

• Familiarity with A/B testing, feature-flagged rollouts, and analytics instrumentation.

• Experience in creating polished, mobile-responsive web applications.

• Strong attention to performance, accessibility, and usability for non-technical users.

• Healthtech experience, including the handling of PHI and HIPAA compliance (preferred).

• Knowledge of clinical NLP, healthcare data processing, or AI-assisted clinical workflows (preferred).

• Background in mentoring engineers and engaging in technical design decision-making (preferred).
